ABOUT CReED
The Community Research, Equity, and Design (CReED) Collective is a research lab at University of Maryland, College Park. We specialize in community-centered AI research, focusing on addressing structural oppression through equity-centered and justice-oriented approaches. We employ community research methods including participatory design and assets-based community development approaches, aiming to design and research emerging technologies that promote inclusivity and fairness.
