
Reza Amanahu
Undergraduate Student
Reza is a sophomore undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park, pursuing studies in Computer Science and Information Technology Design. She is passionate about using software engineering to enhance the technological infrastructure of West Africa. Additionally, she is deeply interested in the intersection of gender studies and access to early education in computing, particularly for minority groups. This passion fuels her work in the CReED Lab and her involvement with nonprofit initiatives beyond the university campus.
Outside the lab, Reza is an active member of the Design, Cultures, and Creativity program within the University of Maryland Honors College. This program allows her to engage in interdisciplinary learning focused on creating uplifting designs and solutions for communities worldwide. She also contributes to the Honors College as an Honors Ambassador and serves as the PR Chair for the Black Honors Caucus.
